How the practice tests are made

We download each state's official driver handbook from its DMV website. A language model drafts multiple-choice questions from short excerpts, and must copy the exact sentence from the handbook that proves the correct answer. Our code keeps a question only if that sentence really is in the handbook (and any number in the answer is in it), and a second, stricter check must confirm that the quote makes this answer — and only this answer — correct. Questions that fail are dropped.

We are not affiliated with any DMV. The real test may include road signs and topics not covered here; always study the current handbook.
