How the questions are made
We take each state's official notary public handbook or notary law from the state agency that commissions notaries, split it into short excerpts and write multiple-choice questions about the rules in each excerpt. A question is published only if (1) its supporting quote appears word for word in the source, (2) numbers in the answer appear in the quote, and (3) two independent checks with the options shuffled agree that the quote proves the answer and that no other option is also correct. Questions about the agency itself, its addresses or the handbook are dropped.
This is a free study aid. It is not the official exam, the questions are not taken from any real exam, and nothing here is legal advice. Always study the current official handbook.
